Where does the video come from?

We are a catalog, not a video host: episodes play in partners’ embedded players. Quality, dubs and speed come from them, not from us.

Why do some titles have no player?

It means no partner has it yet. We mark such titles right on the poster so you don’t open the page for nothing.

How do lists and community tags work?

Lists are yours and live in your profile. Tags come from people: add your own on a title page or vote for someone’s, and the catalog searches by them.

How do I change my nickname or avatar?

In your profile, under “Edit”. The nickname is public and forms your page address; your email is never shown to anyone.

Who can see my profile and lists?

Your profile is public by default, but one switch in profile settings changes that, down to “nobody”. Lists, collections and reviews hide separately. Your email is never shown and no setting can turn it on.

Softimage's Michael Arias started the project as a short CG exercise, which then came to the attention of Morimoto, who then agreed to work on the project on the Softimage 3D software. A few months later, Visual Director Wilson Tang and Animation Supervisor Lee Fulton introduced a pilot to the Softimage staff, made entirely on computer with a staff of only 12. The pilot won the Excellence Award at the 3rd Japan Media Arts Festival in the Digital Art Division. (Source: Anime News Network)
