frame
A screenshot, a photo of the screen, a meme or a video — as long as the scene itself is visible.
episode
Your frame is compared with frames from the episodes themselves, so the answer is a specific episode, not just a title.
05:12
minute
The “Watch from 12:34” button opens the episode right at that scene.
Images up to 25 MB, videos as a file or a TikTok link.
From a computer or phone — ideally without the player interface.
Paste a link to the video — we'll take a few frames from it.
If the scene is visible under the captions. The less text on top, the better.
A shot of a TV or monitor — straight and without glare.
MP4 or WebM up to 25 MB — a downloaded edit, for example.
YouTube and VK links, and fan art — only frames from the episodes themselves. You can download a video and upload the file.
Ask away… I'm not asleep

Drop the image onto the search screen, paste it with Ctrl+V or give a link to it. In a couple of seconds you'll see the anime, the episode and the minute of the scene.
Yes. Paste the video link or upload the file — we take up to three frames from it and show the best match.
Most often the frame is heavily edited: borders, big text, mirroring, filters. Sometimes the episode is too new to be in the database yet, or it isn't a frame from the anime at all — fan art, a music video, an ad. Try another frame from the same scene.
The match percentage is shown next to the answer. At 90% and above it's almost always the right scene. We don't show matches below 80% — they're almost always wrong.

No. The image goes to trace.moe straight from your browser; we only receive the ID of the anime found, to show its page.
We still show its title, episode and minute. Titles missing from the catalog can't be watched here — you can look the title up elsewhere.
Search is powered by trace.moe, an open anime scene search service. Your image goes there straight from your browser and isn't stored by us.
